Our Christmas Yule log
This year, the team at La Bastide, a Michelin-starred restaurant, presents a unique Christmas Yule log inspired by Provence. Chef Noël Bérard and his pastry chef Thomas Chenal explain their creation in a few words:
Inspired by the cicada, an emblematic symbol of the region, this Yule log is made with local and "made in France" ingredients: vanilla from Brittany, citrus fruits from Damien Blasco (Roussillon), chestnut honey, and almonds from Provence. A delightful blend of freshness from the citrus and creaminess from the flowing praline, this Yule log is sure to delight your taste buds.
